Klìma

The first Ferilli eyewear Collection takes his name from Sikalindi (namely prickly pear in Griko dialect), the material that has been used to create the sunglasses. The prickly pear is a fast-growing plant that vegetates and quickly reproduces itself in a spontaneous way, and therefore it is classified as "infesting".

Thinning out and pruning procedures are periodically essential to limit an overabundant growth. Thus, the fibre needed for the sunglass production is obtained by a patented and completely eco-friendly  method of dehydration without the use of pollutants.

The Sikalindi won the Oscar Green award in 2013.
